In Rotterdam, you did not have to explain to anyone what a sandwich halfom was: topped with liver and salted meat, it was a household name. Whether it is still for sale somewhere we do not know, but we do know where you can get very good bread for your homemade half-and-half. You will also cycle past the mill where the flour for these breads is milled! The title of this cycle route is twofold by the way: you will also cycle halfway around the Rotterdam harbors and some real Rotterdam sights.
