How do your locks work?

Our key locks: 1 frame lock and 1 chain lock per bike. Use the chain lock to attach it to another object so that the bicycle cannot be moved.

Our code locks : you have to put the code between the white lines at the front side of the lock. Keep this side visible!

What are the delivery & pick up times?

Between 7:00 am and 10:00 am or any other agreed time

How much is a bike?

The price of the rental depends on the duration of the rental and Your deal !! You can check out the prices of the Bike rental. It is important to realise that we use the same prices like others but we offer it including a free delivery transport service to Your accommodation and that is very comfortable For You.

What are your opening times?

We are working smart! You don’t have to go to a shop, We are coming to You. You are not limited to closing and opening times, no waiting rows for getting a bike, no deposits like original Id’s and money. We are always open, For You!

Can I leave the bikes somewhere else, so not in front of my Accommodation & airbnb Apartment?

Yes that’s possible only when You informed us well about the exact location address( including a picture)via Whatsapp.

Do you provide maps?

Yes, we can provide you with our free detailed city center map, showing you the bike lanes, tram ways and all highlights of Amsterdam. If you plan to cycle more and further, we also provide maps with stretch more miles, such as the Countryside. Please contact us for more information if needed.

Do you organize guided tours?

Our partners do. Tourists who want to cycle with a guide can join a daily bike ride through Amsterdam and beyond. The guides show the most spectacular and breath-taking sights, and give historical and recent information about the Amsterdam and more. We have several different tours available. What type of bikes do you rent?

All our bikes are specially made for us in Holland in a small factory. So 100 % local market and low transport emission.

Do you have tandems available?

We don’t have. We can inform You where you can get one!

Do you rent electric bikes?

Yes we also rent electric bicycles. The bicycles have powerful batteries and have an average action radius of 125 km. Just to the Keukenhof from Amsterdam or to Volendam or Zandvoort aan zee, no problem. No traffic jams, no looking for a parking space, no coughing people around you on the train or bus, just get a breath of fresh air on your electric bike and enjoy each other and nature along the way. Long live freedom!

Do you rent motorized bikes?

No way. We only rent bikes that have zero polution. You have to move yourself…keeps you fit!

Do you rent children’s bikes?

Off course we do.

We have children’s bikes for children aged 5 to 7, and 7 to 11. Younger children can use a child’s seat and older children are usually big enough for a town bicycle. When you are making Your reservation, we will automatically know!!

Are there any special traffic rules, I need to know?

YES! Dutch traffic laws also apply to you when you are riding a rental bike. Stick to the rules and forget your interpretation of a “typical Amsterdam” riding style. Check the safe cycling page for safety suggestions.

Where can I park my bike?

You can park in the designated bike parking areas, or bike racks, that are everywhere in town. Just don’t park outside of those designated parking areas or you will risk getting your bike ‘towed’ by the council. If in doubt, make use of the bike shed (“Fietsenstalling”) at approximately € 1,30 per day.

Do you provide helmets?

Yes. We realize that you might want to for Your Safety.

What if a bike gets stolen?

When you lock your bike properly it is very unlikely it will get stolen. However, when your rental bike gets stolen, you are liable for the damage. In case you have insurance you have an own risk of € 0.00 otherwise you are obliged to pay the full value of the bike (normal bike € 350.00, electric bike € 1450,00 ).

Are the bikes insured for theft?

Not by default; when you rent a bicycle you are liable for theft. The risk of theft is small if you use the locks the way we will instruct you to, but if the bike gets stolen you have to pay € 350.00 for the normal bike and € 1450,00 for the electric Bike. However, we do offer you the opportunity to take a theft insurance. If you have a theft insurance and the bike gets stolen you have a liability of € 0.00.

What happens if the bike get a flat tire or breaks down?

Our bikes are well-maintained and equipped with anti-puncture tires, so they won’t likely break down. Should you have a mechanical problem , stop riding and move to a safe location before using your phone. Contact us (call or whatsapp) for further instructions!

Can I change a reservation?

Yes, in most cases your reservation can be revised to change dates or equipment without penalty.

What’s your cancellation policy?

To cancel an online reservation, simply email or whatsapp us with Your name and Confirmation number that you’d like to cancel. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before Your Check In date/time of Your accommodation will receive a full refund of Your payment, less a 10 euro processing fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before Your Check In date/time are not eligible for a refund.

Do you deliver the bikes ?

Yes! We deliver the bikes to your accommodation, free of charge between 7:00 am and 10:00 am or any other agreed time. After your rental period we will pick up the bikes at your accommodation. You will receive the codes to unlock the bike locks by email.

Do you charge delivery cost ?

No! Our delivery & pick-up service is free of charge.

Do you have next day delivery ?

Yes! If you order before 15:00, your bikes will be delivered the next day.

Do you provide theft insurance ?

Yes! You can select to include a theft and damage insurance at the reservation page. The theft and damage insurance is € 4,00 per bike per day.
